Optimus V backlit keyboard question

Hello

Can anyone confirm if the 15.6 and 17.3 screen Optimus V's do or don't have a backlit keyboard. There seems to be a bit of contradiction between the "configure a laptop" main screen, the compare 3 laptops screen and the configurator screen.

My impression is that the 17.3 probably doesn't have backlit keyboard and the 15.6 may have one. Seems a bit odd when both the Vortex 17.3 and 15.6 have backlighting.

Looks to me like the 15.6" Optimus V does and the 17.3" Optimus V does not have a backlit keyboard.

They're probably just different clevo base's whereas the Vortex's may be the same line of clevo base model but different sizes.

Cheers Steaky, you've confirmed what i thought. Pity the Optimus V 17 inch isn't backlit.

I've got an Optimus 17.3 V, definitely not backlit keyboard.

OK thanks for the confirmation. Just that backlighting is one of my "must haves" when it comes to choosing my next pc. I currently have a Dell XPS 17 which is almost perfect (although a bit long in the tooth now), but i neglected to get a backlit one and i've been kicking myself ever since.
