Optimus VIII 17" : Noisy fan

My new laptop can be on 0% cpu, yet the fan is still whirring. I'm doing nothing, just showing desktop, and it thinks its a good idea to run the fan.

Any way to control this?

Its so noisy.

Ah, just discovered CCC, clevo control centre, with its custom fan speed.

Doesn't look like it was installed, was on DVD, but laptop doesn't have a DVD drive.

Anyway, nice to see we have a way to tweak fan profile.
