Ordered this a couple of days ago and whilst it is still changeable I would welcome any opinions??

I will be using it for gaming, general bits and bobs etc.

I don't think you need the SSD cache, I think the cache drives are used for speeding up booting and loading of most used programs when the first drive is mechanical.
I was under the impression it wont really do anything useful if you already have an SSD as the main drive (though I could be wrong).

Plus one what Rakk said,an SSD cache drive Is mainly used along with an HDD as a cache for frequently accessed data on the OS drive,making it 4X faster than a HDD-only system.
As you selected an SSD drive,an SSD cache drive probably wont improve things any.

From what I've been told, it may be prudent to also add at least the 30 day dead pixel guarantee Inc. labour and carriage costs @ £12.

I went for the 1 year dead pixel guarantee Inc. labour and carriage costs @ £19 just for the peace of mind.

I have just ordered a V3 and was wondering the same thing about having a CACHE Drive and a SSD Main Drive so I asked PCS. I was told “if I intend to have a SSD as the main drive I would not get any benefit from having a SSD CACHE drive, it would only be of benefit if I had a HDD as my main drive”.

This, dump the cache and possibly go slightly bigger main drive.

Agreed with the above sentiments, the cache may help increase the speed of any programs stored on the secondary hard drive but unless the relatively small increase in speed is a must then you might be able to spend the pennies elsewhere in your build!

Changed the Cache drive out and upgraded the SSD instead. Still in pre prdocution at the moment, 7 working days in.

I'm probably the most impatient person in the world for ordering stuff.....IT's KILLING ME!!!!

Haha I would imagine everyone feels like that at some point. I know I was impatient waiting for my rig to arrive!
