Ordered PC..doubts over case choice

So, I've placed my order today for an overclocked 2500k.

After reading (and over analysing !) case reviews I plumped for the 'INWIN Dragon Rider' over the 'CM690 II'

I've noticed a couple of mods express a preference for the latter, now I'm not wedded to the Dragon Rider and would happily change if there are sound reasons why the CM690 is 'better'.

I have no specific requirement from a case , it will sit under my desk, I may add an HDD over time and change the GPU but that's about it.

So, is the CM690 'better' and if so, why ?

Given your requirements I would just go for the one you like the look of most, as both cases will be more than adequate.

Though you're right in saying the latter appears to be the more popular choice because it's so well-rounded with plenty of features and it offers excellent value for money.

Toms hit the nail on the head here. If you're going to open it up, fit watercooling, a 75" fan to the CPU, 27 GFX Cards, then the later is the choice by modders, so head their words :) If it's going to be as little as you say, go for the looks :)

Everyone is different and have different preferences - If you like the look of the Dragon Rider, you go for it! Just because we like something else, it doesn't mean that its better for you. The bottom line is, the case you've ordered will keep your components cool and will be relatively quiet so if you like the looks of it too then it's a great choice!

EDIT: However, if you do decide you want to change the case please do so before it get's built for obvious reasons :D
