Having spent the last few weeks researching parts/combinations I am now at a point to order. Before I do I would like people more knowledgeable than me to have a look and make sure there are no obvious errors in the build. My main area of concern was the RAM and specifically 3200mhz Vs 3600mhz and 2 sticks Vs 4 sticks and to someone who has played console all their years all this can be very confusing. In the end I went for X4 8GB sticks as the Youtube channels all seemed to be pointing that direction and from what I believe 3600mhz is wasted because the 5600x can't utilise that speed??
The storage was another area where I had to do a bit of research. I have an external SSD for photos/videos etc so everything on this build will be purely games and associated programs. I plan for the 500GB Firecuda to be the operating system drive/steam etc and the 2TB Corsair to store games. I would have picked PCS own SSD but they only offer 1TB storage option.
£2000 is a serious amount of money for me so want to make sure I am getting the best I can for that budget. Thank You in advance and sorry for being a nuisance.
I want to play 1440p and have an MSI 166MHZ 27" monitor. A 3060TI would probably suffice but I thought the 3070 may be slightly more future proof. I play games like Squad, Post Scriptum, Hell Let Loose and will be picking up Battlefield 6 when it releases. 32GB Ram is probably overkill but I would like to get into MS Flight Sim and I figured the additional RAM my help here?
Again, thank you in advance.
