Origin probs

I have a problem with Origin not opening. I've tried running as administrator with no sucess. I've also deleted and reinstalled it, what can I do?

What do you mean it doesn't open? Does it throw a windows error when you try to run it? Have you installed it to the default location?

If it just doesn't run or throw any error and has only recently started happening, it appears to be a known issue on the origin forums affecting some people

It just doesn't open when I try opening it. Can't be any simpler than that Spyder.

Have you got Windows up to date? I had a problem with Origin when i didn't update windows

Tried the link. It worked but I would have to do it EVERY time. I need a 100% fix because I'm not doing this all the time.

Didn't actually look at the link so unsure what the process was so forgive me if the below thread doesn't offer anything more conclusive, but it's taken from the origin forums, there's a couple of workarounds/fixes at the end:

Can you post back with progress? Best of luck. Afraid can't talk from experience as haven't had the issue myself.

Why would changing your screen resolution make the problem go away?

I won't be doing this. Well, it looks like I just have to end the process each time I want to use the stupid-waste-of-time program.

Lol, doesn't make much sense does it but then again, I wouldn't put it past them to incur such a ridiculous bug. It seems to be quite a prevalent issue that's been around since January so let's hope they address it soon.

Well if you won't at least try peoples advice then what is the point of asking for it? It's amazing how silly things can effect other things that effect other stuff and cause problems, although resolution isn't a logical possibility it's not really all that surprising.

Is it in the Task bar at the bottom Right, its an Orange O. You need to double click on that.

When i launch Origin it sits there and doesn't show any windows at all.

Smoke has right Origin in the way sometimes likes to open.
