overclock gtx 1080 on Octane III?

I've purchased an Octane 3 laptop with a gtx 1080 gpu just wondering if it's possible to overclock I know it's possible on desktops but with cooling is it safe to do on a laptop? Probably won't overclock as it'll be a beast compared to my current Octane 2 with a gtx 970m gpu but the 1080 still struggles at 4k resolution and wouldn't mind playing at that res but not worth it imo if it can't reach 60 fps.

You should be OK as the Octane has good cooling, although I always use mine on a cooling tray.

You aren't allowed to overclock the GPU. It instantly voids your warranty. Regardless, I doubt you would see enough of a gain for it to matter THAT much.
