pay by credit card?

Hi all, not sure where this post should go ? but looking to buy the vortexIII with most bells and whistles ,
just need to know if I can pay with a credit card(debit card more correctly , as I have the $ in my acc ..lol)
I am from zimbabwe and have a friend in the u.k at the moment( he is coming back on the 25th june)
help ?

p.s I have sent an email enquiry, but time is a factor ....

I see no reason as to why you can't.
Simple way to find out is to try and make the purchase!

You can normally order with a credit/debit card, however, if you card is not registered in the UK, it just may not be accepted.
I think you may have to pay with a bank transfer instead.

we would need to be paid by Bank Transfer. You would have to request that the correct amount in sterling was sent from your bank account and take responsibility for all bank charges.

Though I would definitely wait for the email response you get, because things could have changed since that thread, or I could have got the wrong end of the stick.

Do double check with your bank and await a reply from pcs. I do know uk banks allow cards to be used over seas/countries for large sums if notified, so they lift off security levels a bit.

Keep in mind there is a 2% surcharge for credit card payments!

yeah, seems I may only be able to do a bank transfer, have emailed pcs to get bank details,
and prob looking at a 75pound transfer fee, I really hope this all can be pulled off before the 24th of june , fingers crossed,
otherwise it will be back to the waiting game till I can get a friend going to the u.k again ...
I have a desktop with the following :
2600k/asus p8p67m-pro/8gig ram/5870vga 3 x 2tb hdd int / and 5 x 2tb ext (lots of movies+games) , and I used to carry my pc to and from work every
day, for the past 6months or so however, I been leaving it at work during the week, taking it home on weekends, so I think the laptop will
be an excellent desktop replacement,

On a side note I see the gtx680m is very close to release, but with most opinions of only slightly better preformance than the 7970m,
and at a greater price, we'll see though.

Given the average time for dispatch for laptops at the moment is about 15 days, you'll probably need to fast track it to get it before the 24th, there are only 8 working days, or 11 real days between now and the 24th.

yeah I did get quote for 5-day fast track, but now the friend is saying he cant bring it, is bringing a whole drum kit back,
but I will keep my ear close to the ground as they say.
looking forward to the laptop battles once 680m is in ...
