PC and desk cooling

Bought a new desk recently and my pc lives inside it :p It's basically in a cupboard type and there's not much airflow going in (I do keep the door open most of the time when my PC is on but apart from that the other 3 sides are pretty much blocked apart from a 2inch thick 7inch(ish) long gap at the bottom for cable management.
I have realised that parts of my desk directly under where some fans are placed can get hot I'm just wondering the desk won't catch on fire or anything will it? When I open the door sufficient air does come through and my MB and CPU are around 30-40temp for MB and 45-50 for CPU on idle.

I don't think it will set the desk on fire, but I would look at the possibility of taking the back off and removing the door or keep it open all the time.

The only way I could possibly remove any side is if I cut it open, as I would have to pretty much take apart the whole desk.

I would move the PC outside and to the left of the desk (where your rucksack is) and use the cupboard for storage. The PC will be much happier and cooler outside and it looks way too good to be shut up in a cupboard! :)
