Looks good, I suggest going for the silver warranty because at £5.00 is definitely worth it. If you wanted to save some money you could get the caviar green HDD instead of the black one(there's not a lot of difference between the two in terms of performance) and get the titan fenrir cooler as it’s better than the standard Eco one but will be a bit nosier. Also, consider getting the Artic Cooling Thermal paste for cooler temperatures.

The i7-950 is faster than the 1090t but i'm not sure you'd benefit much more from it. The AMD build you posted is using the Crosshair motherboard which is comparable to the asus rampage not the P6X58D-E, there's 2 extra physical cores, 2GB more RAM and a more expensive case in the AMD build. You could save quite a bit of money by using the same case as in the other build and using a cheaper motherboard.

decisions, decisions :(

i like the idea of more ram and 2 more cores, but when looking at all the benchmarks the 950 dominates the 1090T...in my gut i know i should and 99% sure i will order the i7 i just wanted to make sure before i blow all my cash that i got best system.

btw, the quote and config on this site is brilliant, really helps when building a pc...as does the price!

Just go with the i7-950 then, you could always add more RAM later if you want to and games aren't utilizing more than 3 cores properly right now anyway.
