With you budget I've just upgraded the GPU to the gtx590, which will be more than enough for now and the future. :D

Thank you SrgColman for the advice was just wondering wouldnt a i7 be better than the i5? and would faster memory not make a difference in gaming? have so rep for the advice =]

Personally i would stick with your original spec as the GTX580 is good enough to max games out and the i7 will give you a slight boost with the faster clock speed, if you want to future proof you could put a corsair 1000W PSU in so that you can sli at a later date with a second GTX580.
