A lot of changes could be made here, what’s your max budget, your uses and what monitor(s) will you be pairing this up with? :)

Edit: Please could you also post your config link so we can make changes?

It's strongly recommended to move to AMD at the moment.

Based on your budget, monitor and use, I made a new build for you:

So as you can see, I've moved you to the Ryzen 7 5800X CPU, the TUF X570 motherboard which is great with that CPU, 32GB of RAM as your original build but this time 3600MHz since AMD is hungry for that extra RAM speed (even tho 16GB is more than enough for now). Kept the same GPU since you play on 1080p monitor, improved your storage as following: 1 M.2 ultra fast 500GB Samsung SSD for your OS and regular apps, 1TB PCS M.2 SSD for your games etc and 1TB mechanical hard drive for your files such as pictures, music etc... I've changed up your PSU to the RMx 850W which will ensure you have a good upgrade path, low noise and endurance. I've also upgraded your cooler with the H100i Elite Capellix. The cooler you had chosen originally is not even close to keep these new processors cool. I've also improved your wireless card to the better Intel one. I've intentionally removed Windows 10, since if you already own a PC with it you can easily transfer your license. If you don't, feel free to add it back or source it somewhere else at less. As you can see it's all within your budget as well :)

that is much nicer and balanced build and would result in great user experience all around, even outside of the games.
Also has decent upgrade options for future.

Thank you so much for the response. As a person who doesn't know much about specifications and what are the best options i really do appreciate the help. I definitely like the look of the build you have made and I will be definitely considering this as my final build. I've heard a lot of good things about AMD processors and I'm glad also you have made sure the cooling is good on the new build too. At the moment for me anything is better than my current pc which has an Intel I5 8400 processor and a Nvidia 1050ti graphics card so a new pc is needed definitely. Definitely going to save this build and consider it :) thank you

AMD nowdays has same amount of performance as corresponding intel, EVEN in gaming (better in bunch of cases). It used to be intel is for gaming, AMD for productivity, but due to intel being on old manufacturing process for like 3rd generation, AMD has lot of advantages.

You get the performance, power, cores and use less power to do it all.

As for the build above, not only you get faster ram, that will make the system faster. But you have brutally fast M.2 SSD for system, which will make everything work in blink of an eye and windows start in question of seconds. The build also has 1TB of another SSD for gaming, which only gonna get more beneficial as the new generation of games for console get ported to PC, remember that both consoles now use SSDs, games will rely on them even in PC gaming most likely.

It also has bigger and higher quality PSU, which will allow you in future to make upgrades to the system, like buying new GPU, or upgrade the cpu to more cores if required.

And lastly, the changed wifi card has better speeds and includes Bluetooth too. Definitely would suggest the second build over your original posted one.

If it was my money I would be happy to purchase the spec it allows for future upgrades just be sure to add the operating system into the spec if you dont have a key to transfer over !!!! Only have to change gpu when you fancy the step up to 1440p gaming :)
Also warrenty just needs changing to silver £5 extra covers a year of carriage costs rather then a month

Is it worth considering downgrading the amount of RAM to invest in a better GPU?

I'm not seeing any reason for 32GB right now while a monitor with a rather formidable 240Hz refresh, needs the best GPU is can get. The 3060 is a good 1080p GPU but more for 60fps at Ultra settings. With the money saved you can upgrade to a 6700XT. That can deliver a 30% improvement in fps over the 3060. It's also a bit more capable at 1440p if you make that move.

With 16GB RAM it would be more sensible to move to 3200Mhz speed. This avoids any issues when you upgrade of having 4 sticks. It also saves a bit of money and the difference between 3600 CL18 and 3200 CL16 is very modest

Also with a 5800X might it be better to pay a little bit more for a 280mm AIO such as the Corsair H115i RGB PRO XT? Case will need to be changed to accomodate 280mm AIO since current selection only can deal with 240mm.

Silver warranty for a £5 is a no-brainer.
