Would I need a subwoofer be needed for gaming, I live in a flat above a shop so I'm not sure it would work. Will be mainly for games as I listen to music in my bed room.

Is a subwoofer overkill? My apartment is not big.

I was looking at this: JBL Professional 305p MKII 5" 2x.

JBL LSR310S Active 10" Subwoofer.

The subwoofer (£394.90) is expensive mind but find the speaker's ok (£122.27 each).

Is there a cheaper option, is this overkill for games?

Also what chair would you recommend? I was looking at the noblechairs EPIC Gaming Chair but that costs 500 odd pounds.

Thank you.

You don’t 100% need a sub woofer, however a lot depends on what games you play.

They add to the overall immersion in the game.

the setup you quote is expensive compared to good 2.1 systems.

even for a surround system.

if getting a sub woofer, make sure you can control it, some a quite dumb in regards to control

if you get a decent speaker setup it lasts for years, my surround setup is on its 3rd Pc (15years).

Thank you for that.

I heard 4k screens are not needed at this time being, what monitor should I look at? I don't need more than one screen and don't need to be ultra-wide. I not sure what to ask, when it comes to this. I would be looking to spend around £300-360

A lot depends on what your PCS build is.

Match monitors to Graphics card.

for chair, you get what you pay for to a certain degree.

I have a Secret labs Titan chair, and WFH can spend 14 hours in it, really comfortable.

they do cheaper ranges.
