PC SPEC for Farming Simulator 2013

Well the title of the thread pretty much explains it all. I appreciate the game is not everyones cup of tea so prefersbly I don't want this to open up at debate on whether people like it or not.

I am a complete novice when it comes to PC specs really, so am looking for some guidance on what components to make my PC with. I have had a couple of trial runs with this website & put in components I feel will do a decent job, but due to not having any real knowledge on what will work best compatability wise, I didn't really want to commit without first putting the question across to some experienced members. (I know the website checks to see if components will work together, but ideally I'd like the components I choose to be paired together well to get the highest possible effiiciency/output for my money)

I want to be able to play the game on full graphics including 8's (highest option) on both the Multisample Anti-Aliasing & Anisotropic Filtering. My budget is in the region of £600-£700. Don't really want to exceed this unless its a must. Would prefer a Wireless internet conection, but I wouldn't rule out ethernet really.

Hopefully someone can help me out & provide me with the advice I need.

Cheers in advance.

Hi,
I can't find benchmarks of FS 2013 but I assume is CPU intensive, you wouldn't have an issue with an i5+gtx 660 ti. If you wish to lower your budget you could get an HD 7850 or HD 7870 instead.

Hi,

Thanks so much for your response. If I was to opt for the GTX 650Ti card, would the performance differ greatly??, only way I could gauge this is the fact it shaves nearly £100 off the overall price by changing this. I assume it is quite alot different as as £100 aint exactly a packet of peanuts. I could probably alter the RAM aswell as I currently have 6GB on my current machine. I presume by cutting off the extra 2GB the components you listed would not suffer greatly? or is 8GB essential for the components you have chosen, or a nice to have?

Thanks

I would consider an HD 7870 and 4gb memory ram rather than the GTX 650 ti, as I mentioned before I was unable to find benchmarks for FS 2013 but for other games there is a significant different in performance between the GTX 650 ti and the GTX 660 ti.

Hi so I downloaded the demo for farming simulator 2013 and ran it on my PC, I have a GTX570, which is very similar to the 660Ti performance wise and my GPU usage did not go above 50% and the game utilised four of my CPU cores and ran at about 20-30%

Im pretty sure this was at 60fps too

So you do not need an expensive spec to play this game

This one is £700 and should be more suited to your needs

Ive even thrown in a fast SSD in there which will be able to hold your OS, a few programs and FM2013 to make it all load quicker

The GTX650 is more than enough and should see you through the next few editions of FM

**EDIT** Was running on the highest settings as well
