You can be sure that this spec will max out any game but a lot is not needed; I made it so you can SLI or overclock in the future. The case looks really nice but is quite big.

If you want a better value for money for your use, if you're not gonna edit videos or use CPU intensive programs I'd go for that:

This spec will perform just as well for gaming for less, the GTX 670 will max out any game for a couple of years at least, and you can still SLI when needed. You'd need a better CPU cooler to overclock though, but it's not needed for gaming.

Dunno what size of screen you need or if you wanna game in 3D though.

Im no expert, and until they log on and give you the definitive answer heres my thoughts (based on being in a similar position and ordering the same), please take them as my opinion and that Im not a guru so they may not be technically accurate!

CPU - 3750 is fine for gaming, the 3770 apparently is only marginally better for CPU intensive apps like photo editing etc as it has hyperthread, but games dont really take advantage of this. Your call I went for the 3770 for the shiz. If youre going to Overclock go for the CPU with 'k' at the end, if not then get the non 'k' version. 'k' signifies it is unlocked for Overclocking. INTEL is apparently streets ahead of AMD here?
MOBO - Not 100% sure, but for overclocking get the Sabretooth or Maximus, otherwise it depends if you want to SLI (see below).
GPU - THis is the most important choice for gaming. Go as expensive as you can afford, its better to have one uber GPU than SLI 2 inferior ones, as it gives you the option of upgrading in the future by adding the extra Uber GPU in SLI (once price has dropped). I went for the 680, but the very best is the 690, although its quite a lot more expensive as well!
Memory - 8gb max for gaming, 1333mhz if you arent overclocking, 1600mhz if you are.
Case - personal choice on styling, but if oyu are going to add extra GPU in the future and/or overclock, make sure you have one that has space and ventilation!
Cooling - Depends if you want to overclock, if you do get the best you can afford
HDD/SDD - Ideally get a 120gb SDD as your primary drive, they make loading MUCH faster (although not as noticable an impact on MMOs), then get a WD Black or Velociraptor for your storage hard drive.
Soundcard - Onboard should be fine tbh and are quite cheap and easy to add later.

With regards to the keyboard and mouse, i have Naga mouse and keyboard, but changed the keyboard to a Cyborg. Love the mouse though!

My spec below comes in about £1500, which leaves you £500 to spend on the monitor, keyboard and mouse. I didnt have an OS so add £70 onto this as well.

Hope this gives you a little food for thought until the gurus get online!

^+1 my only grip with the Maximus is that is a micro-ATX board which means that it's smaller than the others and thus offers less PCI slots. The sabretooth and the P8Z77-V are good boards, depends if you need the extra slots.

The 680 is only marginally better than the 670 (talking about a few frames/s drop here) and doesn't really justify the rather significant price difference. Realistically you won't notice a difference on a single screen. The GTX 690 is worth £1000 and defo not needed on a single screen.
