PC Spec - please provide thoughts

Hi,

Please can you give your opinion on the following spec.

Budget is £2500 at most.

PC will be used for working with large databases and doing lots of database operations (hence fast processor, lots of RAM, and speedy ssd), watching movies (including 3d ones) and occassionally playing the odd game (in 3d).

I don't really care about the case, except that I'd like a usb 3 near the front as I'll backing up data frequently, and a spare PCIe in case I buy a "OCZ RevoDrive 3 X2" at a later sage.

I'd really like advise on the motherboard options (there are several in the overclocked pcs page) as I don't know which one I need?

I'm not sure about Power supply and cooler but suspect the ones I've selected are more than adequate?

Finally - is the selected graphics card okay for watching 3d movies/games on (I could go with the 580 3gb but not sure if its going to offer any real benefits?)

Thanks

Super Star
Where do you live? *Planning to steal awsome PC*

That cooler should do you fine. The PSU should be fine even with a 580 but if you plan on going SLI then I would go for 850W.
I think the PC without the OCing will still be very powerful. I would put the i7 to stock clock, put the mobo to the first SLI able one. And just keep the RAM at 1600MHz.

This is alot better than cheaper

You have me worried now ;) I live pretty close to you (Linwood) and I'm out close to your stretch of the woods nearly ever weekend!

Thanks for the advice and answering my questions (I wasn't really sure what motherboard to go for).
