PCS - Cyberpunk Spec PC

What are peoples thoughts on this, it's one of the PCS Specification PC's where you choose what game you're interested in and it comes up with the relevant spec, the only things I've changed are the M.2 SSD and HDD. I haven't specced my own PC yet but my budget would be around £2500.

Thank you for your response! Good thing I didn't pull the trigger!

Monitor wise, don't shoot me (although I've got my armor on just in case lol), but initially it will be paired to a Samsung 50" 4K TV, I'll change to a monitor later down the line.

Basically, the intention is to use the PC as my gaming device in my living room when I don't feel like playing on my console and eventually, it will be moved to my garage (once the internal rebuild has taken place later down the line) where it will be used as part of a racing sim.

I've already got a PCS Gaming Laptop which I use for work and gaming on the go or when the Mrs wants to watch TV but of course, it has it's limitations.

Here's something at the top end of your budget that would do a terrific job. I'm suggesting going for Ryzen 7000 and the new 7800X3D, the world's best gaming CPU, which will be released this afternoon.

Not sure about the liquid cooler. The 7800X3D is quite power efficient and a decent air cooler would suffice and requires no maintenance.

AIO requires no maintenance other than dust removal, same as air cooler.

And there are no good-quality air coolers available on the configurator right now anyway. Would a good Noctua/Be Quiet/Deepcool/Thermalright air cooler be enough? Certainly. But the only option is the FrostFlow 100, which would not be enough, even considering how efficient the 7800X3D is.

Hmm, maybe. This would suggest that 4K high will be around 50fps.

That may be enough, especially since you can enable DLSS and get some extra performance essentially free. I'd guess you want to be above 60fps ideally?

The 7900 XT costs an extra £30 and gets notably better performance, though admittedly without DLSS. It would definitely be an option...

Nothing can run CyberPunk at max settings really, you'd have to reduce settings to get good framerates. CyberPunk is extremely poorly optimised. If you're happy with 60fps (you don't mention which model TV you have so don't know if it's over 60Hz?), then that's easily doable at 4k with some settings reduced.

Maxxed out you'd be looking around 20fps at 4k

For any game though, "Max Settings" is not a thing in the PC world, you always optimise the game settings to get best performance.

Of course, I understand all of that but if I can get a PC that can run it well, I'll be happy. Other games I'd play are Stray, Assetto Corsa and ACC which can run on my laptop without issue so I'm sure I'll be fine on the PC front . Thanks for the response though and the YT video.

That will be fine tbh, I'm used to playing games at 30fps on console (not all games have performance mode - Gotham Knights for example, locked at 30fps) so anything above that is already an improvement!

Yeah, I get that, it's one of my most played games though on console so if I can get a PC that can run that well, that would be good . I know how much of a mess it was on Xbox when it released, luckily I was fairly bug free apart from massive FPS drops that rarely happened but big improvement on Series X.
