PCS state wrong laptop screen specs ? Their mistake or lie ?

I have heard before of people receiving wrong screens in their laptops ,but i just noticed something different.
My findings are for 14 inch enigma (THD W86)
Under the laptop scree selection if you go to check for information by pressing (?) it says that the laptop has this display panel 'AUO B140HTN01.1'
According to PCS the laptop has IPS screen ,but looking into the specifications of the panel on other websites (panelook.com) it says that panel is a TN and actually not even a good one.
So either PCS is wrong and the panel inside is not that one or PCS is missadvertising the laptop as having an IPS display when it actually has a TN one.

Best way would be to call them (although they are closed the next few days), could be a mistake and either they've put the wrong screen ID or said it's an IPS screen by mistake, no one here could tell you though

I've noticed a discrepancy between PCS & other sites with my own rig, eBuyer lists it as having 4 x USB3 & 1 x USB2 but it only has the 4 x USB 3. I would believe the PCS site over a third-party seller any day.

may be some times these kind of problems can occur, in these cases you can contact them and tell them you didn't receive what you are expected to receive and what you have paid to get receive.

Agreed, your best course of action is to call PCS (don't rely on email) and ask your specific questions before ordering.

It was probably not wise to suggest that PCS might be lying in your thread title, nor to suggest that PCS might be deliberately wrongly advertising their products. Generally you reap what you sow, a less passive aggressive approach might have produced more responses on here. :)
