Clearly Windows 8 is not really a better gaming platform right now, but I'll reinstall 7 and wait for SP1 benchmarks.

Well its mainly a personal preference thing in the first instance. I always usually go for the '80s rather than the '70s.

When you look at the performance of the Jetstream cards though, it really felt like it was a much better machine for the money.

They're actually significantly higher performance than the standard 680s in both gaming/fps and cooling, so using two of those felt way better than using 670s. The cost is higher but so is the performance increase, and with the Coolermaster HAF-X case and its superb graphics cooling performance I intend to OC these cards a little as well.

Consider a caviar black/ green as your second HD instead, you'll notice a difference over your chosen HDD's.

Other than that, nothing much to improve really, I mean, it looks like you have a endless budget so...
You could probably half your budget and get near-similar performance, but hey ho.

I didn't really consider the speed of the raid array, but for £30 difference I guess you're probably right.

I'm not sure you really would get the same performance for half the price, especially for streaming ;x

Edit: Noticed while changing hard drives that they also have the Corsair H100 now which I did ask if they could get in for me originally >_<. Guess they *can* now, so swapped out for that as well.
