What's your budget and intended use?

Firstly, you have no dedicated Graphics card so gaming will be horrible and probably unplayable with some titles
Then you have selected a 120GB KINGSTON V300 SSD which is utter pants. Get a Samsung if you can
Thirdly, change the PSU to a bit stronger just in case you upgrade something in the future, a 650w 'Modular' one would be ideal

As for the gaming side of things if it's not being used for gaming then it doesn't matter. I agree with the SSD, get a different SSD as the V300 has issues.

The PSU depends on if he needs a graphics card and if so which one. Majority of GPUs only need 550w, but as i said, it does depend.

Yea but always a good idea to get a beefier PSU as he may not want a dedicated GPU now but may change his mind a little later and the cost difference is not a lot if done same time as the build.

Depends if they're at all interested in a GPU, also using a PSU that's bigger than needed makes efficiency worse

I will be installing a graphics card when compt is delivered
I want to get a good core foundation that will have longevity
I can change graphics cards etc over time easily
but not CPU etc

I appreciate the advice about the PSU and SSD
I will adjust my build accordingly

I have a realtively low budget
I want a rig that will manage gaming
Not necessarily AAA at ultra specs
But able to manage most games going forward for few years
In other word I dont want to fall too far behind too quickly

If you could let us know what that budget is it would be useful (your low budget may not be the same as someone else's 'low budget')

I want to stay as close to €1000 as I can

I am not a AAA-ultra settings guy
I dont expect Ferrari performance etc
Just a good solid machine that will last a few years
and wont be completely obsolete too soon

I tend to play games a couple of years after they are released
when they are patched and stable and prices are falling
I prefer RPGs and strategy titles

I have adjusted the PSU and SSD

I have added a graphics card
