Hi All,
Please comment on this build. Will it cope with the latest games? is it fairly future proof? Its my first time spec a computer and I don't really know what I am doing. I need advice from competent people before I spend my cash (£1500 - £2000 budget). Thanks in advance for any help.

For your budget I would choose a completely different system. The FX-9590 runs hot and under performs compare to the Intel equivalent, the r9-290x is also hot and noisy, 24gb ram is overkill for gaming. For your budget I would go with the i7-4790 , 8gb ram and the gtx 980.

I was reading one of your replies to another thread, where you suggested the "Minerva" deal in the review section.
I read through the review and think it is a lot of comp for the money.
I don't think I need an i7 tbh, an i5 will do just fine for the games I play - so I have ordered it.
Considering my current comp is a HP M9565uk which is 8 years old with a gtx 560ti in it, this will be a vast improvement for me
Thanks for the time you have taken to reply to me, your help and opinion is greatly appreciated.
