Hi
I'm still looking at building a new rig for my brother I've got a couple of questions I'd like answering if possible? So below is the prelimery build I've looked at, I don't want to spend more than £2800. The build is purely for gaming alone, no plans on SLI and I really don't see the point of 4K at this moment in time, he plays competitive FPS games so is demanding a refresh rate of 144hz.

What I would like to know is first of all is the monitor good enough? Will FreeSync work okay with an nvidia GPU? I was tempted to go for the Rog Swift as that's what I have but if I can keep the price down I will.
Also is the CPU cooler good enough? I have the top liquid cooler which again I was tempted to get for him however if he's just gaming then it shouldn't really require it? Plus the liquid cooler is extremelly noisy.
Lastly is about the case? I looked at the CORSAIR AIR SERIES™ 540 GAMING CASE CASE would that be better than the selected case giving the choice of CPU cooler etc?
I'd really appreciate advice on these matters, I just want to make sure I get him a good rig.
Merry Christmas!
Jamie
