Preproduction

I placed my order last tuesday, I waited all week until friday I rang and asked if the gtx 680 was back in stock. PCS said no and they couldnt tell me when it would be back in, I said fair enough, if I changed to the 670 would it speed up the order, they said yes it would. So I did, and I upgraded to 3 day fast track service, I was assured that my build would begin on monday. Now I check and Im still in preproduction. I plan on ringing again later, but as Im in ireland that isnt so cheap so if I can get an answer here for free that would be great. I understand if my order isnt dispatched within 3 days my fast track cost will be refunded, but if they cannot meet these terms why are they offering them in the first place?

Rant over. Im just getting a bit cranky waiting for my pc, that Im sure will be amazing.

Remember that it is still Monday and its still Monday for another few hours at least, so it could still easily get to building today

I know that feel! It's almost as if someone isn't remembering to update statuses, heh heh. I think they must be absolutely swamped at the moment, worth getting in touch if you're worried.

I did get a very apologetic email back this morning, hopefully they're getting on top of it now.

My order has been in pre-producton for 10 working days now. Sent a polite email thursday, not had a reply yet. Tbh starting to think about building it myself, which I quite enjoy anyway. Will have to price the components up

Mine's on 17th working day and still listing pre-production. I would have built it myself, but I built the current machine I'm on, and as my friend put it - "Your rig is suitably messed up enough for me to believe that you built it."

So I'm leaving it to the (less clumsy) pros at the moment, and am just going to change my hdd over into it when it gets here.

They are mad busy at the moment, so I'm willing to forgive. I'd be less willing if the game I'm most excited about was out yet, but thankfully (for my sanity), it is not.

When in doubt, complain, complain, complain. My order has been built and now is in testing. Guess I just expected too much of an instantaneous result on a monday morning. sorry pcs, my bad.
