Problems overclocking i5-2500k ?

While doing research on the different components for my new pc in one review on the i7-2600k and i5-2500k they said there were problems with overclocking the i5-2500k, has anybody had this problem

well ... day one of my new i5-2500K machine and i cant get it to overclock (although tbh - I havent overclocked anything in years!)

But - the EZ power mode doesnt seem t work not does manual bios multipliers of 40 etc. It just goes to 3426MHZ and no further.

I notice it states in Advanced.CPU Config a CPU Ratio Range of 16-33 - which seems off.

Have you got links to others having problems?

EDIT: DOH - it only goes up when you stress it. oops.

Quick question, any info on the power consumption on the i5-2500k when overclocking it?

My build which is coming will have the 1GB AMD HD6870 GUP with a 450W power supply and I wondered if I would need a more powerful supply if I am going to overclock.
