PSU Noise

My PSU started making a weird sound kinda like the fan is hitting something inside. My computer is working fine though, but the noise is kinda getting on my nerves. So I'm not to good with hardaware, and not sure if i should take it apart and take a look. should I?

or you'll have to learn the hard way which most certainly wouldnt be nice, just imagine 850w going straight through you

I was thinking more of possibly voiding warranty,
athough you can still get a nasty shock from them,
even when disconnected,
if warranty isn't an issue, there are ways of discharging them to be on the safe side.

I just noticed, if I lean my computer the one way the noise stops. Is it possible that the fan is brushing up against something?

Ive had that before, make sure your PSU is fully screwed and tight against your case, and make sure that nothing is touching your actual case causing vibrations.

Sounds like something is just caught inside and is getting knocked by the fan. If you are technically experienced with electronics (and it doesnt void your warantee) then I see no harm in taking it apart to fix it. HOWEVER you must be experienced and know exactly what you are doing so as to eliminate ALL posibilities of electric shock (Its not good enough to simply unplug it!).

Do not what ever you do, try and take the PSU apart.
It is DANGEROUS!
It also voids the warranty on it

You can take a look inside the PC and see if it looks like anything could be causing the noise, like something caught in one of the other fans though.
