So my new PC which i ordered on the 17th August has finally arrived and it looks great along with the new monitor.

I have just a single question which I am sure someone will know the answer to ;)

-So i have 3 outputs on my graphics card.. (VGA, DVI, HDMI)

-and i have 3 different inputs to my monitor (VGA, DVI, HDMI).

-For setup purposes i just used the VGA connection and a separate cable for audio.

Which cable should i be using??

regards,

I believe HDMI is the best as it transfers both sound and high quality video using 1 cable, I believe DVI and VGA both need a audio cable.

Ok thanks for the help!

I ordered a gold-plated HDMI cable with my PC anyways as i was intending on using this to connect my xbox360 to my monitor, so i can use that for my PC also ;D

Use your HDMI for your xbox to monitor, DVI for PC to monitor (Same quality just can't carry sound) and I assume you have speakers so use normal speaker cables for that! :)

either dvi or hdmi but not vga as its pretty limited in quality and reso. dvi just about the same quality as hdmi except it dont pass audio as hdmi as the guys said. your choice for which you choose. if you dont have dedicated speakers then go for hdmi.
