Is it possible to order with just a single gtx 680 installed as I have no use for two. The fact that I would need two power supplies to run sli uts me right off the idea of sli.

Or perhaps you can suggest a laptop with an intel i7 3970 or higher spec.

Will be using for 3D rendering on the move so CPU is most important.

Unfortunately we only offer this model with both GPUs installed. However, have you considered selling one spare GPU on ebay? The GTX 680 can fetch a very reasonable price...

Why would I buy something I do not require, which I assume includes installatuion cost at full retail price only to sell it at would inavitibly be a lower price. Seems like I would be losing out and wasting time not to mention risking damage to the laptop and my warranty if the removal goes wrong.

I have a limited budget and need to get the buying price down so I can maximise the areas I require which is CPU for 3D rendering on the move.

A shame PCS cannot offer customers the same suggested resolve that you do.

Sadly it seems there is limited choice in this so I may have to downgrade my GPU requirment to GTX 670s which are around 50% of the performance.
