Hello all, I have been pointed in the direction of this website by a friend on my course who owns the Inferno. After asking him a few questions and learning of how much he paid for his machine I couldn't resist! So I am hoping people could help me out. I currently own a Macbook Pro with W8, OSX and Linux installed. Having used windows 8 for a while I am very impressed so looking to move for a W8 and Linux machine. The things I am looking for are as follows:
I do a fair bit of programming, bit of gaming, watch a lot of HD video and word processing. So I guess I am looking to find out what peoples experiences are with the track pads and the various other things in my list!

- Quality of the track pad - probably one of the most important things for me. One of the great things about OSX is its gestures and the windows 8 gestures are great on laptops that properly support them. The only really good implementation of W8 gestures I have found is the track pad in the VivoBook X202
- High Resolution (if the Inferno offered 1920*1080 or something similar I wouldn't even be posting now!)
- Dedicated graphics - I am not a huge gamer but like to have the option there and I am partial to a few new releases.
- Portability - I like the 13" MacBook for portability.
- Battery life - battery life on the Macbook is impressive.
- SSD storage is preferable
- Design - I know this is very vein, but I will have to own this thing for a few years. I like the look of the ultra books.
