Quick MOBO question

Hopefully this is the right place to ask this.

Would it be possible to add second graphics card to this Motherboard ASUS® M5A78L-M/USB3 In the future if I wanted to assuming I have a sufficient PSU?

Already a Nvidia GTX 550 Ti on it.

No, it doesn't support SLI or crossfire.

According to the specifications it only supports CrossFire (that's AMD's version of SLI).

It can have two AMD graphics cards put in it, however the card you have is a NVidia card and it will not support 2 Nvidia cards - so you could not add another 550Ti.

Edit: the mobo has Hybrid CrossfireX Support, this could be different to normal Crossfire, can't find any really plain yes/no answer to whether this means you can Crossfire or not with 2 cards

Not trying to muddy the water... but if you bought two AMD cards then yes you could use them in crossfire... but you would have to get rid of the 550Ti

It only supports Hybrid CrossFire,which means you could use the onboard graphics with a dedicated AMD GPU,not what your looking for though.

Ok Thanks for your help guys I think I'll Just stick to the one GTX 550 Ti for now though !

Looking at the manufacturer's website I couldn't find that it supports crossfire.
