My budget has now increased, so I am thinking of getting the 6770 not the 6670 graphics card. the configurator has not seen any problems with it, however I was looking at the AMD website and it says the 6770 gpu needs a PCI-E networking card. However I cannot get this, only the PCI card not PCI-E, due to the motherboard, and this configurator only has one motherboard.

Will the graphics card work?

Many thanks

TheKeir

P.s. I know I forgot to mention the £5 silver warranty :p

I suspect you slightly misread it and it probably claimed it needed a PCI-E slot for the graphics card *, since there is no way a graphics card would need a network card to work :)

*which the motherboard will have, though probably not very many which is why you cant have the PCI-E network card

I did indeed think it was weird that a graphics card needed a networking card to work, but I didn't realise PCI-E could be for anything else. That really clears things up for me, Rakk, thanks. :)
