Random Crash during Gaming - Happened consistently

Hi guys! PC has been running great until recently. I've been having a little trouble with crashes during gaming. When I crashed, I was playing Apex Legends. The crash doesn't seem to be happening when I don't play Apex.

Only observable thing I noticed was that it happens at the end of the game.

In the event viewer, i've noticed that there is a WHEA error. I've exported the event viewer to help: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lzQQrger3fypbfTADS3JAE6oz1HRjzMi/view?usp=sharing

Just a big than you, this is literally the perfectly formed post 👍🏼❤️

This is quite possibly related to 4 x DIMMS @ 3600mhz, we may be able to work around it.

Firstly, can you make sure the AMD chipset drivers are the latest:

Then could you run memtest86?

Hi Spyder! I've been through the 3600Mhz issue before. DIMMs are downclocked down 3533 and that stopped the issue consistently.

Edited above post afterwards.

Ok then. That’s a different matter entirely.

Make sure your chipset drivers are up to date and @ubuysa may be able to look over the dumps when he’s next free

Just to update: happened again, but this time didn't write a memory.dmp file which is interesting.

Monitored CPU and GPU temps - CPU was 38c and GPU was 65c so nothing concerning there.
PC goes to black screen and PC restarts.

Noticed something consistent in the event viewer: Session "Cloud Files Diagnostic Event Listener" failed to start with the following error: 0xC0000022

This is an error level event that occurs around about the same time as the crash, and it's present every time.

Does the timing of these crashes align with any updates at all?

In particular GPU driver might have updated or the game patched?

Seems odd if it was working ok for some time beforehand and now is only just being a problem.

If so, might be worth rolling back to previous driver to see if it works ok there again.

No, no GPU driver updates that I'm aware of. No update that I'm aware of.

Only happens when I'm playing Apex, can't go one or two games before a crash. In the past, I've played 20-30 games back to back of Apex without a problem. The reason I'm coming here is because I'm seeing WHEA errors.

Yep, just uninstalled OneDrive after reading this. I'll keep going with Apex and see what happens!

In that case, I'm not sure that "Cloud Files Diagnostic Event Listener" error is related to the crash itself.

Did you update the chipset driver?

I've been through device manager for my CPU and it says it's all up to date!
