With the current trend in movies of rebooting old franchises (successfully, Batman, Spiderman, Bourne, unsuccessfully, Prometheus) what games of old would you like to see revisited, or rebooted?
Personally, I'd love to see (yet) another reboot of The Sentinel. This was a real thinking game and with today's technology it could also be a graphical masterpiece as it combined strategy with tension and a need for fast action when that sentinel started to drain your energy levels. Man, I spent hours playing that game.
We're being treated to a reboot of XCom, which I also played to death. The entire series which, for me, should have stopped at terror from the deep as after that it went downhill.
Alone in the dark - the first example of a survival horror game and the main attraction was the spookiness of the game. The camera angles used really ramped up the suspense. One of my sons always left the room when this game was being played as it really scared him.
So, what would you like see being brought up to date?
