Hi All..

I've had the laptop for one day. Sound worked for 30 minutes after playing with Realtek Settings. Restarted and sound never came from headphones again. uninstalled driver, reinstalled from the disk (later version) now headpphones don't appear as a device (I assume they are combined with speaker device) when i plug them in no sound what so ever but I get notification...

Ive emailed pcspecialist..

I saw a red light from one of the jacks.. its off now though.. anyone?

The red light is actually an "audio optical" output.

It looks like you've changed the audio setting from within windows itself. Right click the volume icon next to the bottom right clock and click on the "playback devices". In the playback tab, it should give all available devices, you should be after "speakers".
