Remember Passwords

When I set up my new PCS computer, and first entered passwords, the system asked me if I wanted it to remember the passwords which was very useful. Is there any way I can set it retrospectively to remember other passwords?

If you mean in internet explorer, then it's tools, internet options, content tab, autocomplete settings
