Requested RMA, DPD never showed

So after getting my laptop and being extremely happy with it for a few weeks I noticed a stuck(Don't think it's dead) pixel on my screen. That was annoying, but I paid for dead pixel guarantee so I figured I should take advantage of what I paid for so I requested an RMA and it was accepted within an hour. It said that DPD would collect my parcel between 9:00 and 17:00 and this morning I got 2 texts and 1 e-mail saying it will be collected between 17:12 and 18:12. I live at a uni so I had to go wait in the reception for the DPD driver to arrive, I went up there at 16:30 just to be sure and the wait begun. I waited until 19:12 and still no DPD so I decided to just go back home. I'd deliver it to my local DPD depot, but that's about 2 hours away and I don't feel like spending an entire day + travelling the underground with a 1400 pound laptop...

So now I'm not sure what to do, it's just 1 pixel and it's barely noticeable, but considering I paid this much I want everything to be in good shape, especially because I paid extra for warranty, but after today I don't really feel like waiting for DPD again. But what should I do? Request another RMA? Call PC Specialist in the morning and explain the situation or something else?

I've tried all kinds of stuck pixel magic to hopefully fix it with no luck, so if anyone has any magic ideas they want to share it would be greatly appreciated.

That is not good enough really mate is it! Cant believe they had you hanging around for all that time!

I would suggest getting in touch with PCS no matter what you decide to do if only to inform them of the situation.

Its likely dead mate to be honest. Im on my second screen witht he same issue. ITs a pink dot but nothing shifts it. The first one was white. Ive decided to bare with it this time for now as it isnt as central and in my vision like the first one. I guess its an above common issue with these screens.

The reason I'm not sure if it's a dead pixel or not is because I thought dead pixels were supposed to just be black, but this is red on white background and black on a few other colors but on a black background I can't see it at all. Anyway, I will contact PCS tomorrow, I don't blame them for this at all seeing as DPD's service has nothing to do with PCS' excellent service, it's just annoying.

PS: I have a Vortex III 15'6".

Edit: I contacted PCS support and they called up DPD and arranged a new collection. The DPD driver claimed he was there at 17:16, but that's a complete lie since I was sat in the reception which has giant windows where you can see outside where he would have to drive in. Anyway, PCS support is amazing and I am happy I ordered from them.
