Restore to factory

Hey guys.
This might be a stupid question, but I'd rather ask than risk it! Lol.
I bought a laptop from PC specialist last year (Nov 2014), it's one of the Vortex's. I bought windows 7 with it which came installed on it. If I restore to factory will it still have win 7 or it or would I have to re-install it? I'm pretty sure it doesn't affect windows, but I just want to make sure. Thanks :)

To restore to factory settings you need to do a clean installation of Windows

Previous laptops I have had that came with windows on always kept windows on when I did the system restore to factory. But I wasn't sure if it would be the same with a pcspecialist laptop even though it came with windows on it. I don't have a windows disk :(

Windows 8 and up can do a factory reset which actually rewrites the Windows image, it is essentially a reinstall from scratch. Windows 7 doesn't have this feature. Pcs don't do recovery partitions on their laptops which is why they provide you with the disc.

You can download a Windows 7 iso direct from Microsoft, just google it. Then you can burn it to disc or mount it to a usb drive. Use the Windows 7 usb download tool to mount to usb.
