Strix X570 without a doubt

B450 < X470 < B550 < X570.

The strix has fantastic cooling, PCIe4 support for both M.2 slots (although you only currently have 1 gen 4, this could change in future upgrades).

The B450 is basically like a really suped up old board, but it is gigabytes premium line.

Strix is Asus’s premium line and a far newer board

I personally have gone with neither. I went ASUS STRIX B550 board. I don't need the 2nd m2 slot at gen4 speeds so I figure save some money by not getting the x570. Anyone think this was wise?

The Strix B550 should do the job fine but the X570 is just a more advanced chipset. You would get more out of it if you wanted to

In most cases B550 would be enough, but as above, a price difference is so insignificant that X570 sounds appealing. B550 can accommodate 1 fast and 1 slower M.2 SSD, while X570 both for NVMe 4. Also, X570 is with active cooling (adds a bit of additional noise though). If you're not 100% sure if you won't need X570's features in the future, then go for X570 to be safe but not sorry.

Right, this thread has been hijacked and we don't actually know other components @gohan2091 has got in their build. It's not sensible for us to offer well-rounded advice without more information. I suggest @gohan2091 starts their own thread if they want assistance from the forum and I will lock this one to stop the madness continuing.

Apologies, @Otone (y)
