Hi guys, yes it's me again. It does take me along time to make sure the money I spend is worth it! I do buy for the long term. At some point I mentioned wanting a 'touchscreen', but I think I'll leave that to tablet form.
I mainly use for video & photo editing, but would want the laptop to be somewhat future proof for my needs. I will be buying Corel PSP X6 ultimate & eventually the Video application.
So guys (I nearly know all your names), will the Vortex IV X780 which is on the 'review' be good for future proofing for my needs (no gaming). I prob won't be buying a new laptop after this one (but I can upgrade components) & I do have a desktop which I have upgraded with an SSD.
I have read, that altho' I can't change the specs on the 'review' laptop, I could request Windows 8 for no extra charge? IMO there's no use in staying with an 'old' OS, especially as I'll have this laptop for a long time....a decade!
Thankyou for any advice. I realise that customised laptops seem to be for 'gamers', but good specs!
