Hi
I recently bought a pre-built gaming PC and would like to increase the RAM from 8GB to 16GB.
I'm particularly interested in RGB as it looks better and been doing alot of research to determine if it will actually work on my system.
The mobo I have is an ASUS Prime A320M-K with a Ryzen 5 3400G CPU.
Only have 2 slots for RAM and 1 is filled with a Crucial 8GB DDR-4 2666.
I'd like to upgrade to with 2 x 8GB Corsair CMW16GX4M2C3200C16 Vengeance RGB Pro DDR-4 3200
I'm not sure if my board will accept the XMP/D.O.C.P profile from this RAM, reason being, the docp option in BIOS is currently disabled and cannot enable (presumably because the current RAM doesn't have any profiles on it)
Also, under Ai Tweaker, I don't have Ai Overclock Tuner option listed at all.
The BIOS is at the latest version too.
I'm not sure if the overclock tuner is required or not or whether it will magically appear once docp is enabled (if I can enable docp that is)
This RAM is expensive and really don't want to waste my money if it's not going to work.
Any advice you have will be a big help.
Thanks
