Why does my computer crash whilst playing the game? I keep getting horizontal lines.....computer crashed 3 times then I deleted the game yesterday..... I've reinstalled it today, but haven't tried the lowest lower settings yet

I tried getting a refund but I played over 2 hours so I couldn't get one.

Runs ok on my rig but I've had to turn down all of the settings to consistently get 60FPS+

If you had not updated to Nvidia's latest drivers I'd give that a go see if the problem persists.

Does it happen upon boot up or just mid-game somewhere?

I did notice significant FPS dips moving from area to area within the game - if its related to that then lowering the settings might really help.

Wow just seen the appalling spelling of the title. Oops...

Tried it on the lowest settings and I got a blue screen. Won't be playing it again........ Can't even play the Lego games because all those crash too.

A dump file was created and I'm trying to figure out how to read it.

Try a reinstall of the graphics driver and also a previous version to see if you can narrow down where the issue lies. If you can upload the dump file I'll try and take a look at it.

You can also look through the Event Viewer, that may provide the culprit to your issue. It's best to trigger the crash and then load the event viewer just so that it is easier to find.

Nothing useful to add (shocking!), but just taking the opportunity to moan, because loving it so far and can't believe we had to wait until the end of January to play it! Don't they know I now have a backlog of games, and with XCOM out next week-ish, it gets worse! ARGGHHH!
