RMA Advice

I've just had to RMA my Vortex II due to a problem with the GPU.

All I need to know really is

A) How to best package the laptop itself (No longer have original packaging)

B)What do I need to include with it? I'm guessing just the laptop itself but maybe the power lead/brick too?

A quick response from someone would be splendid as they are picking it up between 9am and 5pm tomorrow.

Thanks in advance :)

Firstly I'd suggest asking if PCS can supply you with replacement packaging (I dont think its all that expensive and its piece of mind really) however, failing that - A suitably sized cardboard box with plenty of those small polystyrene pellets / air bags will help protect the laptop from any shocks.

If you have a case for the laptop (carry case etc.) I'd suggest maybe ringing PCS and finding out if you can return it in the case for some added protection?

I would personally include the power transformer etc but I'm not sure they will need it, if you call about the packaging ask them if they require it. I would send it if they have not specifically told you not to though.
