Yes I requested another RMA as my computer is now showing the same symptoms as it did before whenI had to return it fail to get past POST and no fans spnning but power is getting there or I can get past post and on windows for 5-10mins then bang off she goes again. the last time this happen roughly 4 weeks agoit turned out they be the GPU if it the GPU again I swear i will never get ATI again

I just like to clear this up as I was kinda angry this fault happen again. I basically have had this pc less than a month if you don't count the last rma and the time it took for tech support to suggest that to me and now this RMA. I am just wondering what is the odds of the new gpu getting faulty like the old GPU inside 3-4 weeks. I keep an eye on temps so i know it aint a overheating issue the highest my CPU got was 33 and my graphics 62-63 while running RIFT for four hours on custom settings my FPS was great.

Then out of the blue while not in any of my games it just goes (like the old card) it could restart or fail to even get POST(again like the old card) when i run a game it will restart / fail post quicker. Apart from the random restarts / not turing onX I wouldn't even think my computer was faulty as it shows know signs od a faulty componet except the random restarts.

I am using the mobo that was recalled and I know it shouldn't affect me but is there a chance the PCI slot is doing this as 2 cards inside a month same fault just seems very very rare

Apart from this fault that has appeared twice inside the month that I got it the machine is great.

Wow feel really sorry for you but the odds on faulty graphics cards are very small you would have to be really unlucky to get 2 dodgy ones, when you speak to support if they agree it might be the card probably be quicker for you if they can send you a replacement card if your ok fitting it yourself but sounds like you might be best returning it and having it looked at maybe someone else will suggest something you can do over the weekend.

I know how to replace parts no problem building them computers no problem gotta love the module I did in computer science 5 years ago hardware it basically was building a computer from scratch Speaking of luck in that module every part i got was faulty. I don't mind componets breaking it happens but the same one twice in a month just seems to say theres a problem somewhere else that is causing this problem.

I will defs call them monday and see what they say

Nice wish i had learnt how to build computers years ago but changing a graphics card and a bit of compressed air dusting is my experience inside a PC so no offence meant ;)

No offence taken. just a matter of practice A friend of mine could build a computer in his sleep which is scary all he does is look at computers. he beein doing it since he was 16 I didn't even look inside a computer at that stage

I'm sure support will assist and get it resolved.

Computers these days are very easy to build. I built my first computer back in 85. Prob. before some of you guys were even born :D lol
