RMA Query

So last night i was using my computer, just on skype relaxing. All of a sudden, big bang and shut down. Water cooler burst and completely drenched motherboard, graphics card, sound card and PSU.

I've rung technical support and arranged for it to be returned for repair.

What will they do at repair? My main concern is using the PSU after it's had coolant inside.

Also, PCSpecialist no longer sell the graphics card I have installed. Does this mean i'm going to have to wait weeks whilst they order one in?

Thanks.

If the PSU is water damaged it will be replaced / repaired by the maker. The graphics card may be sent back to the maker for repair if none are availiable and it needs fixing, depends on what the quickest turnaround option would be.

So tl;dr i'm not going to have a computer for weeks? 99% Sure the graphics card is going to be dead as it took most of the water.

There is pretty much water damage in the entire thing apart from hard drive and optical drive.

Im not sure i can compress it down further than 2 sentences!

Its impossible to say without it being here with us and seeing the technicians report.
