Hello PCS Forums,

I'm a patient person, but my patients has just about run out. I got the laptop back this morning, I fired it up, I even entered the 25 character Windows key, all was good for about 10 minutes, then, the exact same problem as before started again. Now it has just got to the point where I wish to return the laptop for a full refund, as I have now decided to take my business elsewhere!

This is the exact wording of the previous fault report:

'When the laptop was under stress it was overheating and that was the beeping noise you would hear, I have re seated the cpu fan and heat sink and run the system on a full 4 hour test without any faults'

It begs the question, was it even looked at?

REALLY NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL... :(

Simon, what BSOD code are you getting? Is it exactly the same as last time and is it reoccurring every time you stress your laptop?

No idea, I am trying to install War Thunder, it beeps every second after about 10 minutes, then it shuts itself down...

REALLY NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL... :(

I have no idea what I am doing on that score, and it really isn't my problem... :(

It is not your fault but attempting to diagnose the problem could help you get it sorted quickly. Try contacting technical support to see what they can do. I would, if you are keen, follow Steaky's advice and try to monitor the temps as well as trying other applications to see if the same issue takes place.

steaky360 was just trying to help in-case we could talk you through an easy fix.

No offence but if you didn't want help from us why did you post? Just a Rant?

I would recommend trying steakys steps, not saying it will work but its the only thing we can help you with, any refund problems etc is between yourself and PCS and we cant help you there sorry

So when you got the laptop back it stayed on long enough to install and I presume run warthunder but now won't stay on long enough to do anything else? (Just trying to get a gist of what's going on :) - I can totally appreciate your irritation with all of this but sometimes electronic components can be finicky and these kinds of things sometimes unfortunately do just happen)...

I was in the process of installing War Thunder, the laptop goes nuts during the install, then shuts down... :(

If I just turn the laptop on and leave it, it is fine, but if I put it under load like trying to install something, it goes nuts and shuts down... :(

Did it shut itself down when you did stuff before you installed War Thunder?
If not, given the installation of it went nuts, it's possible that something went horribly wrong during the install and something has been corrupted somewhere causing the issues (this is guesswork though at this point).

Rakk, I have a sort of system for it, first I install WT for my boy (and me) then I install MSN for my daughter, then I install Open Office for the work I do, then I do the updates. I have been in live chat bending poor Wayne Robinson's ear, it is getting picked up tomorrow for a repair, 3rd time lucky and all that, Wayne spoke to whoever and said it may be a cooling problem? I have calmed down now, but I am really gutted as PCS reviews are brilliant...
