RTX 3060ti swap to 3060?

What monitor do you have resolution and refresh rate or make and model?So today I received an email from PCS about swapping to a 12GB RTX 3060 over the RTX 3060 Ti. While I'm very eager to receive my new PC, my understanding is the Ti is a much better card. Anyone got thoughts on this?
As i understand things the 3060 is a replacement for the 2060, in other words high refresh rates at 1080p, whereas the 3060 Ti is more suited to 1440p 144Hz

Yes, the 3060 Ti is a much better card than the 3060 - it really depends on what resolution you’ll be playing at. The 3060 will be a 1080p killer, whereas the 3060 Ti is a 1440p entry-level card.So today I received an email from PCS about swapping to a 12GB RTX 3060 over the RTX 3060 Ti. Yeah I got the email too. As i've got a 1440p monitor and gearing towards that I'll hold tight for now.

3060 would be perfect for that.
Yeah, there was no point of me sticking to the 3060ti, as I wasn't going to play in 1440p.

Let us know when your PC will go into building if you dont mind - I’m also considering the same thing mostly because of wait times and I’m also playing on 1080p
Will do, I'm hoping it's not going to be too long. Another reason, I switched was due to the waiting times.

Just now, at this time? Woah. Mine should also go into building very soon - I’m on day 13 Pre-Prod and amended to a 3060🙂
