Samsung 950 Pro M.2 NVMe SSD

Seems PCs has gotten these in stock now:
"128GB SAMSUNG SM951 M.2, PCIe NVMe (up to 2000MB/R, 650MB/W)"
"256GB SAMSUNG SM951 M.2, PCIe NVMe (up to 2150MB/R, 1260MB/W)"
"512GB SAMSUNG SM951 M.2, PCIe NVMe (up to 2150MB/R, 1550MB/W)"

Much faster than regular SATA, that's basically capped at 500/600MBs, and the price is good as well :) These are also supported on the new Skylake mobile chipsets (6th gen), so you can use them as an OS drive.

You can use it, it will get detected in your OS if you have installed your OS on another drive, but I'm not sure you can use it as an OS(Bootdrive), unless PCS have released an updated BIOS that adds support for it. Maybe it's already out, since PCS has added this as an upgrade option for your model? Ask PCS to be sure, before you purchase it :)

Someone is testing the drive on your chassis for me now ihavenoideawhatiamdoing. Just have a look on here at 11 and I will tell you if it works

It is not detected in the BIOS so that is going to be a no I think :(

The 951 that are listed are almost as fast. But yeah, I'm hang'n for either of these too, as well as the 6700K. And don't forget next year Samsung will release its 1TB NVMe 950 Pro.

And I'm waiting for a 4K 17" screen. Waiting waiting waiting.... :whistling:
