No, it just means that you’re guaranteed a delivery on a Saturday rather than a random weekday.

The trouble with picking a Saturday delivery is that if it misses the deadline for getting out on the Friday (as it was only just finished building/testing), then you will end up waiting until the following Saturday for delivery.
Its just an option put in for people that work in the week and wont always be home for a delivery on a weekday - its not a speedier service.
