Sceen prblem?

I purchased a optimus v17 through ebuyer its less than a year old but now im getting this problem.

when i open or move the screen to a better angle i get a GFX tare and sometimes it goes completely white and needs to be rebooted. im thinking the ribbon to the LCD is damaged or maybe the pannel itsself. it needs to be kept still or else the screen messes up.

whats the best way to get this fixed in the fastest posible way? thanks

I'd call pcs for advice and see if they can send a replacement ribbon. I'd call also, not email or webchat, will be quicker.

Problem is I'm on holiday so can't ring at the moment, and tonight when I was tapping the side to try and get it to come back on the screen cracked!!
Not having much luck here. So presumably I will need to order a replacement lcd but need to know if this sounds like a ribbon damage? Not sure if this can be tested? Thanks

If it's being sent back for the screen replacement then ask them to check out the ribbon as well I guess?

Was just going to order a new lcd and a ribbon? Can this be changed easy or does it need to be done at specialists?

Want to change from matte screen to glossy also. There any problems in doing this?

after ordering a screen on the 8th and took the money i still dont have a replacement because they "didnt print the shipping label"

is the support normally like this? desperate to get this screen as i leave to country again in a couple of days!

When you say "tapping"... do mean hitting?

Maybe the tap turned into a hit but the screen wasn't coming on at all hence a little tap normally got it going :-/

Just gutted I can't get a new screen here!

I had a similar problem on an old dell which turned out to be the ribbon cable. Turning it upside-down usually fixed it for a while

They said the screen comes with a new cable so hopefully fix both problems in one.
Just don't understand why they didn't send it out because of a label?

Also any info on how to replace the lcd would be helpful?
