Screen Colour Profile keep resetting after display off

I'm battling with Windows trying to get the calibrated colour profile for my laptop to persist between sleeps / reboot. I've tried disabling the Windows Colour Calibration task in the scheduler, with no change in behaviour. Is there any advice available to try get this working right? It's very frustrating every time I open the laptop to get blinded by the screen until I can toggle the colour profile back.

Thanks!

Hi,
Have you tried -
Updating all drivers.
Running as administrator.
Cheching graphics card control station.
Might be a glitch.

All drivers are up to date, whole OS is already up to date.

Running what as administrator? This is a SYSTEM level process that keeps changing the colour profile

Checking what in Radeon control panel?

Doesn't seem like a glitch, has been an issue pretty much out of the box and is reproducible every time the screen has turned off.

I assume you've tried the suggestion here (you said you disabled colour calibration in task scheduler - so I figure its this) : https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-power/color-profile-keeps-resetting-after-sleep/2cb2e482-4a9d-4d89-81b5-be2603474978#:~:text=Locate a task called 'Calibration, check if the issue persists.

Has the resetting occurred since you had the laptop or is it new (thinking if it could be related to a driver update or similar)?

Do you have the nightlight setting turned on (some suggestions relate to this causing conflicts/issues)?

Yes, that's what I tried

Laptop is only a few months old and screen has been doing this since new

nightlight is disabled
