Simple question regarding connections :)

Hi, just ordered my new pc, and want to know if anyone could tell me what the Standarad USB connection thing comes with, because on the pic for it in the configurater it shows a ps/2 port for both a keyboard and mouse separately, but it says image for guideline only or something like that, so just want to know I it actually comes with two separate ports for a mouse and keyboard? Thanks (bit longwinded )

Well, looking at one of the pictures on http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/AMD_AM3Plus/M5A78LMUSB3/ it looks like it has one PS/2 port and multiple USB's, presuming you're going with the ASUS® M5A78L-M/USB3 board that you had in your previous thread, and presuming I found the right mobo on the Asus site

Yea I saw the combined one for the mobo, but I meant on the

"USB Options"


Part of the configurater as I said from the picture of it (by clicking on the little "?" on the right of the drop down). It has what I need, but the Little star thing says "images for illustration purposes only". So just wondering if someone who actualy has it, or confidenty knows, could shed a little light thanks

Which option in the USB options are you talking about?
If you mean the bit that says '4 x USB 2.0 PORTS @ BACK PANEL (MIN 2 FRONT PORTS)' it's talking about what is on the motherboard already.

Yea that's what I had meant lol didn't know that, but thanks for your help, looks like I'll need to go get an adapter :/
